Marie Curie Fellowships are European research grants available to researchers regardless of their nationality. In addition to generous fellowships, researchers have the possibility to gain experience abroad and in the private sector, and to complete their training with competences or disciplines useful for their careers.

Nine ESR (PhD) positions:
Duration 3 years. Starting date is 1 September 2013; or no later than 1 October 2013.

Three ER (Post doc) positions:
Duration 2 years. Starting date is preferably the 1 January 2014.

In order to be eligible for one of the positions offered by NORA, fellows must, at the time of their recruitment, comply with the following Marie Curie Initial Training Network criteria. Applications from researchers not meeting these conditions cannot be considered. Please read more about eligibility here.

Applicants for Early Stage Researcher (ESR) positions must hold a Master’s degree, or an equivalent degree which would formally entitle them to embark on a doctorate, in the relevant field. The average grade of your Master’s degree must be minimum B (ECTS) or equal. More details on the requirements are listed in the announcements for the individual positions.

Applicants for Experienced Researcher (ER) positions should hold a doctoral degree or have at least four years and less than five years of full-time equivalent research experience in a field relevant to the description of the position. Read more about how to calculate your research experience here.
